Today we just had our doctors; Dr. Koh Khai Luen and Asst. Prof. Dr. Edmond invited to give an Expert series talk topic; “THE BOTCHED JOB, WHEN LESS IS MORE. TIPS AND TRICKS TO AVOID AESTHETHIC PROCEDURE COMPLICATIONS” which was organized by School of Healthy-aging, Medical Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine, UCSI University.
The 2-hour comprehensive CME discussed in detail on common minimal invasive aesthetic procedures (Injectables: Toxins Silicone, Fat, Ablative Lasers, Chemical Peel) and its complications. The talk was divided into 2 parts. Part 1 focused on basic of skin and wound healing, facial anatomy and describing safe approach as well as the technique to various procedures while Part 2 discussed on practical aspect on tips and tricks to avoid complications, management of common complications and regulations of aesthetic practice in Malaysia. A total of 54 doctors from Malaysia participated in this online CME. CPD was issued to all attendees.
